A64s don't have a coherent HT link necessary for mulitprocessor operation. They are physically disabled and beyond the end-user's ability to enable.

For a dual AMD64 motherboard, you can go look at any dual S940 Opteron board. (You said AMD64 and not specifically A64/Athlon 64. I still perfectly understand what you meant, though)

The 940 FX-51 and FX-53, you mean? I know Maximum PC tried to do it with double 51s and IIRC they failed, so I don't think so.

That's because /those/ Athlon64-FX are actually 100 series Opterons - no inter-CPU hypertransport link on those.
