Dual AMD XP?

Will thorougbred XP processors work in a dual processor configuration?

What modifications need to be done to them to make this so and how would you accomplish those modifications?

[EDIT] Almost forgot this would be using an Asus A7M266-D(L?) mobo.

Sorry I don't have the answer to your question. I'm also interested in knowing if my ASUS dual cpu motherboard can use XP Thoroughbreds. Connecting the last bridge of L5 will enable the dual cpu mode of XP. Don't know if it's true with Thoroughbreds.

The problem with your question is that no one here can guarantee their ability to work on way or another. XPs aren't supposed to be used for dual operation, and therefore they are not tested to work like that. However, most of them seem to work properly without running tests. You can try your luck, but I would buy an MP variation to make sure. I do beleive your chance of success is greater than failure in this situation.
