Dual AMD 1800+ MP processors or higher

I have the Tyan Thunder K7 with dual 1.2 GHz MP processors. Would I see a huge improvement in performance to justify the cost of upgrading to dual 1800+ MP processors. I have a few CAD programs that can use SMP processing. What coolers would you recommend for the 1800+? I am using Volcano II coolers and the temp after 8 hours is 43C. The case is a Antec SX1200. I use rounded cables on all my U160 10K and 15K hard drives, floppy, SCSI-2, ATAPI, and LVD devices. The drive bays next to the CPUs have 50 cfm fans and the back of the case has a 34 cfm and 50 cfm fan. Cooling has not been a problem or issue. I am not concerned about noise of the coolers. The only problem would be the second CPU is within 1" of the drive bays. I would not want to cooler higher than the Volcano IIs. You can e-mail me with your comments, mckennma@ix.netcom.com
