Hey,

I got a tyan tiger 100 MB, and im wondering if RAM might be the problem, to my dual 750's when clocked to 933 dont allow my MB to post.

I don't think it's the heat problem because i got good cooling, and my CPUs run at 32*c all the time( i checked with mbm).

lol, that was a interesting responce for a senior member. guess AMDPwred is a bit amd-zelous;)

but anyway, your problem could be elsewere too, i belive at 124mhz fsb your pci is at 41 and your agp at 82. it may well be that one of the processors cant take 933 too. but if your ram is only pc100 then that may well be your problem too. tell us more about your setup and we are bound to be able to give you more advice.

My comment was to let him know that I've got a Duron 750 running at 933. Nothing more. I don't know any answer to his problem so I didn't try to give any advice. I just wanted to tell him it's not impossible.

I agree with TheSnowman. It might be your PCI or AGP bus not being able to handle that high FSB. (It could also be your ram if you're trying to oc a PC100 dimms) If it's not posting at all, then it's most likely your AGP or Ram... PCI will give you errors & data corruption... :(

AMD, I don't think TheSnowman was trying to offend you in any way... :) Most of Intel chips, unlike the AMD chips, cannot change multipliers... His 750 cannot run 7x133. It has to run at multiplier set at 7.5, unless they're engineering samples... ;)

I think you mean stock: 7.0x100= 700MHz, o'clocked 7.0x133= 931MHz. This is what most people do, 750MHz CPU's are not easy to overclock because they run at 7.5x133= 998MHz. And they rarely overclock to this speed. Maybe that is your problem... Can you adjust the voltage? :D
