Hello,
I recently got an Alienware box running dual 6800 GT's in SLI mode. For a project I am working on I needed to run Flight Simulator 2004 on three monitors. I disabled the SLI mode using the Nvidia Nview software and plugged in the monitors. The only cables I had at that time were two analog cables (with the DVI adapters) and a single DVI cable. This configuration worked fine to get things running. The monitors (Dell 1905FP w/DVI-I) ran well but in the game I noticed certain color differences and other oddities. I desired to resolve this so I aquired 2 DVI cables and went about replacing the analog cables with them. I have as yet been unable to get the monitors running all with DVI. At most I can get two monitors running (with DVI) when they are plugged into the secondary interface slots on each card. When I attempt to plug in the third monitor (DVI) on either primary interface slot on either card this third monitor does not work. It seems to be recieving a signal as the 'Self Test Feature Check' does not appear on the screen but I am lost as to what to try next. Do I need to physically remove the SLI connector on the motherboard or manipulate some settings in the Nview program?
I am currently running the latest Nvidia Drivers (71.84) as well as the latest Dell LCD drivers (1.000 Digital/Analog depending on the cable used)
I usually reboot when making any cable/driver changes.
