DTT2500 Speakers and a SB Live! Value Question

Hi, I had just purchased the DTT2500 speakers from the Creative web site really cheap. Link Anyways, I have a older Sound Blaster Live! Value card. This card does support digital input. Do you think I need to go get a new sound card like a X-Gamer or MP3+ to get surround sound on these speakers? I am not sure so that is why I am asking. Will my sound card I have right now be enough too? I also play first person shooter games like Counter-Strike and Quake 3 so I want surround sound. That was the whole purpose of buying them. Please help! Thanks!
