DST Fix Doesn't Work on Win2K

I have a Windows 2000 Pro machine that didn't update its time this morning even though I installed the DST fix from the Windows Update page. Anyone else seeing this problem on other machines?

I installed that Intelliadmin DST patch on all of my Windows 2000 Servers and rebooted them a few weeks ago, but it looks like only half of them updated their clocks this morning 🙁

It's not just Microsoft, though... Some of the tzdata update packages for RedHat Linux flaked out as well.

Not sure what patch you got from WU, but there were no DST patches for 2000 released by MS. The manual process linked above was all that was provided.

Intelliadmin worked on 80 of 100, the other 20 didn't change correctly.

MS patch worked on about the same ratio.

There is no MS fix for Windows 2000

They provided a .reg fix and a script. There was no other way that was from MS to fix 2k machines.

If you did not do BOTH, you were not ready for DST.
