I know that people used supersampling to render at higher multiples of native resolution long before NVIDIA brought out DSR and AMD brought out VSR. I just can't figure out what they were. I have some GPUs that aren't compatible with either DSR or VSR and want to do some testing at resolutions beyond native display resolution.

Supersampling was done with Nvidia's control panel. Just make a custom resolution. I don't recall the program AMD uses anymore, as it's been a few years since I used it.

I use SwitchResX on MacOS for VSR/DSR. That supports Intel HD graphics as well as AMD and Nvidia GPU's.

Does CRU function similarly? Haven't used that for supersampling before.

I wish that there was possibly a solution for higher scaled virtual desktop resolutions on modern (Haswell and newer) Intel iGPUs.
