DSLR Users: Sigma Announces New Lenses!

How do you like your 20D? I want one, but not sure how much I'll use it...

Great camera, especially when you need something that works well in low-light without a flash. Its IS0 1600 is very usable. Its color reproduction also seems spot-on.

If you want one but can't afford one, I highly recommend waiting just a little while to see what the specs are on the "350D" (replacement to the 300D) and either buy it or buy the 300D at an even lower price and spend the difference on a really good L lens like the 17-40.

 to the 30mm 1.4.

That's the EXACT lens I've been looking for. Actually last week I picked up the 50 1.8f from Canon. I'm finding it a bit to narrow for what I want though.

The 30 would be perfect after the 1.6 crop on my Digital Rebel.

Thanks for the heads up 🙂

Excellent, that 30mm looks to be the prime that I want to get as soon as I actually buy the 20D. 😉 I already have the 28-135mm for telephoto and as a "walkaround", but I was looking for a reasonably wide prime to be a 1.6x 50mm-equivalent. I hope the build quality and consistency is decent.
