Nope. Filters only degrade image quality. Though I ruined a lens by forgetting it outside though 🙁. Morning dew got on it, and it somehow stained the coating. pic of lens

Yeah, why is my 35mm collection excluded?

Anyway, I usually use a UV for protection. I just have to remember not to stack anymore; circular polarizer + UV on my 28-105 causes pretty bad vingetting.
