I am getting DSL installed in morning...I have waited sooooo long for this, 768 kbps ..OMG...droool

Ok back to question, I am planning on running the dsl connection thru a surge protector,an APC Pro7t, do I need that funky mvl wire on both sides of the surge protector or can I use regular phone wire to the supressor and then the mvl wire to the modem ?? it is listed as RJ11 6-Pin interface cable.

The thing is I only have one RJ11 interface cable so how do I run it thru a surge protector ?? do I need to get another one ??

Thank you or any help

No fancy connector needed. Just plug the cable from the modem that suppose to go to your phone outlit into your surge protector and use a regular RJ11 phoneline from the surge protector to the phone outlit. This works for me.

Modem ------ surge ---RJ11--- phone outlit
