Same. Used to have 3mbit Comcast, but switched to Qwest when we moved.

DSL varies depending on how far away you are from the main. When it's hot it's hot (and consistent), when it's not, it sucks! Cable is finally faster in my area but 3 years ago cable here sucked and DSL was the way to go.

I get 375 KB/s download on my bellsouth Dsl connection and 150 up [3000/385, uploads at 1500 speeds tho and im not complaining] for $40 a month.

It definately doesnt suck imo 😉

only cable access here is
39.95 a month you get 512kb down and 128k up.
49.95 a month you get 1.5Mb down and 128k up.
59.95 a month you get 1.5Mb down and 196k up.
(keep in mind these aren't guarnteed speeds either)
cable sucks here, it all depends on your location.
