DSL Router, Web Server, Multiple PCs, Port Forwarding

I'm setting up Apache on a Linux box behind an Actiontec GT701 DSL modem/router. There are also several other PCs on the LAN running XP. I hope to have the Linux box function as a web server.

I have a static IP that points to the GT701

I've been told that I have to forward port 80 to the web server or it won't see any requests sent to the static IP.

If I forward port 80 to the server will the other PCs loose internet connectivity?

My question is do I need to forward a port other than 80 to the server for the server to be seen and the other PCs still receive the internet?

If so what would be a good port number?

Thanks for any assistance!
