DSL Router Trouble After Fresh Reformat

I'm having trouble getting one of my computers to connect to the internet through our "Efficient Networks 5871 DSL Modem/Router Combo". The computer was taken off the network to be reformatted and now I can't get it to connect to the internet. Other computers still on the netowrk are having no trouble at all.

I've power cycled the Modem/Router numerous times as well as repaired (also tried ipconfig /release & ipconfig /renew) but have gotten nowhere with it. I'm using ATT Business DSL for my provider and have gotten nowhere with their tech support. I'm beginning to think that something was originally configured on the computer and those settings were lost in the reformat: possibly PPPoE username/password, but I don't see any connections on the other, working, computers besides the standard "Local Area Connection" so I have no idea where to go from here.

Also, I haven't been able to access the router configuration page at all, I'm sure what it's IP is. I've tried the usual suspects 192.168.1.1 or 0.1 but I can't get into it. I'm not even sure it would do me any good anyway since all the other computers are working.

Any help you can provide would be really appreciated, I'm just at a total loss with this one.

Thanks,
Dan

In northern VA through my Verizon DSL connection, I have to change my router to a different IP range. For instance the DHCP supplied IP given to my network/router from Verizon's DHCP is 192.168.1.1. So to my home network, if I want to be able to access my router (and have it manage DHCP for my network), I have to change the internal IP address on the router before connecting to the DSL modem to, say, 192.168.2.1 (you can change the 2 to any number from 2-254). If it is the same (which for Linksys 192.168.1.1 is default) then you'll have an IP address conflict and it won't work right if at all.

EDIT: I should add though that I've never used or even heard of a Efficient Networks 5871 DSL Modem/Router Combo, so take my semi-pointless story above with an extra few grains of salt

Ahh, another NoVAite. *grin* Don't see many around here that I know of, but then again I am not a native Northern Virginian.
