Hey guys I finnaly got a network going w/ my ADSL connection. I have another problem though.

It's kind of buggy. My aim dies a lot, it won't send messages then it kicks me off. Downloads freeze in the middle. I don't really see a difference in surfing though, web-sites load fine from what i've seen so far. Sometimes it does get a little slow though.

Also, on toolbar where it has the little computers to see if ur connected, it says

"Internet Connection"
"Speed: 3.2mbps"

It used to say 10 when I was just using a host->guest connection, where I was plugged directly in the other computer.

Here is a little drawing of my connection

[ADSL Modem]---X-box live cable (lol i think this is a crossover)---> [Linksys Router]---straightcat5--->other computers.

It's the only way it works, using a straight cat5 from the ADSL modem and the linksys router doesn't work for some reason.

Does anyone know my problem?

Thanks in advance crew.

By the way the Linksys operator told me to do the following:

To Disable the Block WAN Request.
Change the size of the MTU from 1492 to 1452.
Change the WAN connection type from Obtain IP auto to PPPoE connection.

This made it work, but its god aweful slow now 🙁

Thanks in advance crew!
