DSL Router and VPN: How?

Hi, I use the Linksys DSL router and was wondering what settings I need to change to get VPN working? I need to connect to
the VPN at my work, but for some reason it just doesn't work at all.

We are using a sonicwall vpn for our work if thats of any help.

IPSEC is normally the problem when connectiing to VPN systems form behind a Linksys Router.
Go to the website and download the most recent firmware, this should help fix your issue as they have included/fixed many of the IPSEC passthru problems of the past.

Hmm.... I just got the latest version of the firmware. It lets me get pretty far in my connection,
but when it gets to the "Loading IPSec SA" message it just stalls. Nothing more will happen.

I know my VPN client is set up correctly because it works when I connect through my dial-up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I agree, IPSpec needs to be supported if implemented....i.e. you might want to try a linux based rouyter instead of a more expensive solution because it does do that..

EDIT:I agree...FOr some reason I didn't read that last sentence...I didn't realize linksys fixed the problem(I have and SMC so I never check on linksys.
