DSL Question, going to be getting it in a couple weeks

Ok we have 3 phone jacks in our house. They are all linked to the same phone number, and I will be using this number for my DSL connection. The jacks are in the bedrooms and one is in the kitchen. The DSL modem/router will be in my room with my computer. I was wondering will I need a filter for all the phones in the house or just the one for my room? The phone company told me that you had to have some type of filter in order to recieve calls on the line, and stupid me forgot to ask them about this.

You need to filter the jacks that the internet is NOT running through... so you'll need filters in the kitchen and the other bedrooms.

our phone is mounted on the wall in the kitchen so I was wondering if it will mess that up?
