DSL Problem

Ok I switched my OS to Win2000 Professional. When I still was using 98, Dsl seemed fine and logging on was very fast. So now when I switched to Win2k, logon takes forever and freezes occasionally. Anybody know what I am doing wrong here?😕

<< Logging on? I didn't think you had to "log on" with either of the broadband services (cable or dsl). >>

If you are usinga DSL connection that has a Dynamic IP and you connect through PPPoE, you have to use software to login like "WinPoet" ever time you reboot your computer (unless there is an option for you to automatically connect each time you boot up.)

Redemmer,
What DSL provider do yo have? Maybe your provider has different software to connect you to the Net in WIn2K Pro?
