DSL Networking question?? Hub vs. router

I have two computers that I want to network. I have DLS and I would like to know is it better to use a DSL router or Hub? What's the difference?

Go with the router. You can find this weeks flavor in the Hot Deals forum and they all have DHCP, MAC Addr cloning.

You didn't say what DSL service you have so I'm assuming you're using DHCP now. Use a hub only if you have multiple static IP Addrs assigned to you.

go with the router. i currently run dsl through a router in my apartment. i found that for some reason it ran quicker and smoother. i use a linksys router

A router will provide more security than a hub. Routers usually come with a builtin firewall and has NAT (Network Address Translation) capabilities.
