dsl modem question

is the line that connects the dsl modem to the walljack a regular telephone wire? or is it some special kind? im using pacbell dsl and i want to have the modem farther away from the wall jack so im wondering if a regular 25ft telephone wire will work

Yeah, use regular RJ-11 Tel. Wire.

The wall jack is actually a RJ-45 jack, but you can use a regular phone wire with it.
