Do you know if a Westell DSL modem model 36R515 (Says Bell Atlantic on it will work with another DSL company which is selling the model 36R516? I would think so, but I don't know if they program them somehow to only work with the respective companies like cell phones...Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
 
Why don't you call them up and ask? I'm sure they'd be glad to tell you, especially if you already own the previous modem. Most ISP's are happy to help... (usually)... no, really.

It should. You would have to get the program to change the VPI setting and VCI setting. Each provider can have and will have different settings for these. Think i found a link to the program on dslreports under the Verizon forum.
