DSL modem and interference

Hi,

Sorry for the newbie question, but I'm getting a DSL connection at home next week (Sympatico HSE, for those Canucks out there) and I'm wondering if there will be any kind of electromagnetic interference if I put the Alcatel modem on top of my subwoofer (Altec Lansing 4.1 speakers).

Get an EMF scope and check it out.

In all seriousness I have no idea if it will have an affect. I would think so though, speakers especially woofers put out a very strong/varying EM field.

put it somewhere else, heck sometimes if I stand to close to my speakers my brain get scrambled. Oh that's right....that's just 300 watts of KRELL power
