DSL Model > DLink Wireless AP - Best way to uplink w/ internal modem?

Doing a wireless install in my buddies house i ran across something for the first time. He's had DSL for a couple years and their using an internal DSL modem on their computer. The DSL line comes straight from the wall and plugs into the internal modem (RJ11). Now, if i want to create an uplink from the DSL connection to the wireless AP what is the best way to approach this (since it would need to be RJ11 to an RJ45 from the dsl modem to wireless ap). I'm accustomed to doing wireless on a cable network where i can just take the uplink from the cable modem (RJ45) and plug it straight into the AP (RJ45).

What's your suggestions?

TIA,

- RJ

There is the cheap way.

Install a Network card and attach the AP to it.

Use Software NAT to configure the Internet Sharing.

This method might work, but at best would yield a quirky service.

The right way is to buy an external Ethernet DSL Modem, and a Wireless Cable/DSL Router. (Or a regular Router + Access Point)

A DSL modem can be found here:
