DSL keeps going out...

I have Bellsouth FastAccess DSL
and im using a Linksys 8 port switch with the Westell Wirespeed 2100
and every few hours the DSL will just go out the ethernet light will stop blinking
so ill have to unplug and plug the DSL modem back in and sometimes the ethernet light wont come on at all
so ill have to unplug and plug back in again and if its still out ill have to unplug and plug back in the switch

haha lots of unpluging and pluging back in

all the phones have filters

its getting really annoying ive emailed Bellsouth but they havent responded yet
so i thought ill ask the ATOT crew

the router should have a feature that keeps the IP connection alive 24/7, I know my 6 port LinkSys does however I use cable so I don't need to use that feature. Try looking for a keep connection alive feature.

might help. sounds like your router isn't keeping the connection alive.

nope thats not it
it is on Always On
and its happening every couple of hours now
