Brief description:
I'm getting DSL service. I have about 20 phone ports (only 5 active now - more to come) on a punch down. I have an ADT security that needs to have "break in" control of the phone. I want to filter all phones in the house where the line come in from the dmark. And have a seperate line from the dmark to my modem and network.
My worry is that once I put the supplied filter on the line and the phone rings there goes my filter (fried). Can anyone confirm I can or can not do this?
