DSL dilemma

i just got hooked up with aol DSL(i know i know).. its actually really easy to set up. well the thing is, my DL speeds are decent. (like 50k- 80kps) but the upload is horrible( i get like 1k/sec uploads) i was wondering if i can play counterstrike decently without too much lag?

There is something wrong. Call tech support. DSL upload speeds are pretty good.
