Hey,
I am in Ireland the last bastion of crap telecom companies who rip people off and get away with it. But anyway I have a DSL connection, it's a "2mb" connection. I get at best 200Kbps downloading is that normal or crap?.
But the real problem I have is that I lose my connection when making a phone call I have the correct micro filter installed on the phone line. I thought the whole point of broadband was that it was always on.
But it's so annoying I used up 100mb of my download limit on something that I then lost when I lost the connection.
I have sent a fault report to BT but I may as well be slamming a door on my head to get their attention. ?they hate us customer people!? So if anyone here can help I?d be grateful,
I?m using a ZyXEL prestige 600 series router plugged into the LAN connection on a
ASUS A7N8X-E deluxe mobo
Any help would be good,
Thanks for reading this.
