DSL & Cable. How do you combine them?

I've got Comcast cable and Verizon DSL (yeah, they suck). Does anyone know of a way to combine them to share bandwidth?

I have a Linux proxy at home which I don't use anymore because I now have a SMC router (yeah, not a true router). Is there any way to use one of these or combine the two of these to use both of my broadband connections? Or if possible, is there any 3rd party software out there will allow that?

All i can think of is getting two network cards, and getting them both online (connected to the net), but i dont know if you need a thrid party software to make it both work at one time. i know that you can have 2 dail up modems for 2x56k, but i dont know if itll work with broadband.

I don't think there is anything currently out there that will do that.

Analogx is trying to write some code that will do exactly what you want but since he doesn't have both, he is looking for testers if you do.
He doesn't know if it is possible yet.

Sure, there's two ways to do it.. Nexland makes a router that will load balance across two Ethernet ports. Costs about $300. Fat Pipe Networks also makes a pc-based proxy that load balances across two different connections. Both should do what you're looking for.
