Hello,

I have currently installed Dscaler on my laptop and I am using it to record my PS3 gameplay using an easycap. The quality of the graphic is way nicer than any other programs that I have tried, the sound is good too.

The problem I am having right now is that, although the sound coming out from the speaker is good, it seems like I can't record the original sound of the gameplay. In the Dscaler setting there, I am actually recording audio using the microphone on my laptop, meaning that the audio recorded is not the original sound, but it is the sound coming out from the speaker, together with some other background noises.

I have looked into the problem for quite a while, but I can't actually solve it. I think that it is because my laptop does not have an internal audio card to record the sound directly. So, can I solve this problem by changing the setting in the Dscaler program? If it is necessary, I am willing to buy an external audio card and connect it to my laptop to record the original sound, if such a product exists. Please, don't ask me to go buy a new laptop, because it is way too expensive. And, I would also like to stick with Dscaler because it gives me the best quality graphic as compared to Ulead 10 or power director 10. I have tried both programs before, they do record the original sound, but the gameplay is way too lagging.

Here is my laptop's specification

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T5550@1.83Ghz
RAM: 3GB
system: 32-bit
system type: X86-based PC

SMBIOS version : 2.4

Direct X11

Display Chip type: Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family

Here is a gameplay example that I have recorded
