Dscaler problem.

I recently noticed my dscaler software freezing after couple minutes. The video freezes and the audio continues. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Tried couple Alhpa version and it does the same thing. I am using an ATI TV Wonder (non VE) with cat 3.1. I am currently using version 3.1.

Anyone seen this problem?? Please Help.

Ok, problem solved for who might come across a similar problem in the future. Apparently Windows XP, dcsaler, and Norton Anti-virus 2003 are not a good mix for watching tv. Uninstalled Norton 2003 and the problem went away. Installed Norton 2002 anti-virus and the video freeze hasn't return.
 
Perhaps you just need to disable norton while you are capturing. I remember norton sometimes periodically does some scan type stuff, that could probably mess things up. Oh well, good that you got it fixed. 🙂
