DScaler and Winfast TV 2000

I have heard a lot of people say to use DScaler with their TV tuner cards instead of the software that came with the product because it produces a better picture, etc. Is this true when talking about the Winfast 2000 Dlx? Is anyone used DScaler instead of the Winfast program and what are the benefits? Thanks.

I tried using DScaler about a year ago, and couldn't get it to work with my Winfast 2000 XP Deluxe. I quickly gave up and went back to using Leadtek's software.

Just download DScaler and see....support for the Winfast cards may have been added by now.

What are your settings and versions? I can't get mine to work at all without crashing my computer.

It works on mine, but the channels aren't right.
I"m sure it can be fixed but I never wasted the time to do it.
