I set up the following system today...
Intel Core 2 DUO E6600
Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3
G.Skill 2GB DDR2 PK PC2-6400 (2x1GB) CAS4 Dual Channel Kit
Corsair HX 620W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU
Scythe Infinity Heatpipe CPU Cooler
Certain programs (3DMark 03,05 and CoreTemp so far) are causing BSODs or system reboots. Some apps seem to run fine (3DMark 01, CS1.6, FEAR and the system is fine when browsing).
This is all at stock, with temps at 40 - 45 load. I have read various forums about the low default memory voltage and have tried upping the vdim to +0.2, this didnt help. The board came with the f10 BIOS so I haven't changed that, but I did get the latest chipset/audio/LAN drivers from the Gigabyte website.
Before I mess about with the DDR2 sticks (one at a time, different slots etc) I was wondering if there is anything I may have overlooked trying??
