DS Lite Screens

Just curious, is there any way to test for dead pixels on a Nintendo DS? For my PC, I have a small app. called "Dead Pixel Buddy" that's basically a slide show that fills my monitor with one color, then slides to the next color (black, white, blue, red, green, yellow, etc.). My Palm PDA has one as well called "LCD Analyzer".

Are there any similar utilities for the DS?

Just find a couple games that have mainly 1 color screens at a point. White and black are basically all you need. Then just tilt the screen around and see if you can find one. On such small screens, dead pixels aren't as likely (PSP screens excluded, initial launch was a nice f*ckup.)

oh you'll REALLY be able to tell just by playing any game. A friend of mine has a dead pixel on his DS, and it was super easy to tell.

My friend got a dead pixel on his first unit. He exchanged it and it's fine. I picked one up too and it looks fine to me. It should be pretty obvious and glaring on certain screens. They don't really have the same problems as the PSP.
