Had some fun with that when I was younger and we were able to get our hands on dry ice. Another winner is "The Works" toilet bowl cleaner + aluminum foil.

We used to do this with 40oz bottles. All that remained after the explosion was the flat bottom of the bottle.
It seemed like a good idea at the time...
