my husband moved my dryer from one house to our new house and its not heating up now

Is it it plugged in? If it's a gas dryer, is the gas on?

If it is electric, make sure it is receiving the full 220 volts. If only one leg is hot, often it will spin, but the heating element won't come on. Use a A/C voltage tested to make sure. Of course moving an old dryer could have broken the heating element.
