Heya's. Been drumming for a few years now and I've had my high-hat to the top left of the snare and I just gotta 2x bass pedal and the legs of the high hat overlap the 2nd bass pedal. I was wondering if there was anything out there that could fix this problem other than a drum rack.

Lock the high-hat closed and turn it around so the pedal is facing away from you, then put the dbl bass pedal where the hi hat was...

The linkage for the high hat pedal will still get in the way. If I'm not mistaken, I believe there are high hats designed to handle both pedals. I've seen some that are one and a half pedals under the high hat where the full pedal is for the double base and the half pedal is for the high hat, but they're hard to find if anyone still makes them even.

you just have to put one next to the other. you should be able to place the hi-hat so its pedal is very close to the second bass pedal. the hi-hat will likely end up being farther to the left than it used to be, but that's the price you pay. but seriously, if they are more than a few inches apart, you've probably got something arranged wrong, so try some other arrangement possibilities. you may be able to rotate the pedal around the hi-hat stand to move the legs to accommodate the bass pedal. i've known drummers who had both the hat and the double kick pedal PLUS a remote hat, with a third pedal down there and the actual hats over on the right side of the kit.

Many hi hat stands now have rotating legs to allow for a second pedal. When I had a double pedal my hat legs didn't rotate but I was able to get the bass pedal between the hat pedal and leg. One of the sets I play on now has a two leg hi hat stand. The legs are rotated so the non existant third leg would be where the pedal is. It's sturdy enough and I could have a double pedal, remote hat, and another pedal down there if I wanted.

My Pearl hat stand and my DW5000 hat stand both have rotating legs.

Would I have to get a new pedal for my high-hat? because there are some kinda screws on it that connect the legs of the high-hat.. i just really want to get it out of the way. I've tried everything
