Drum Players [Enter]

I'm thinking about starting to play drums and I was wondering if you guys could recommend a good book for a beginner. Since there are a trillion books out there, any personal favorites? Thanks.

Are you wanting to play drumset or symphonic percussion type drums? a book can be useful for the latter, but you'll be much better off finding someone to give you lessons on drumset, its near impossible to learn to play from a book, although it is possible i guess. With that said, Carmine Appice has a decent book that teaches the basics of the drumset. If you have any other questions, drop me a PM.

EDIT: heres a link to the book.

I was kidding man! The last thing that I could think of Lars doing is playing for gospel music. Sorry if I've misguided you. Turn your sarcasm meter back on😀
