They are more a sad commentary on our news system.
they like to play with numbers, or ignore them completely, to sell ads on their crappy little websites.

Sorry, having some PMS and a little bitchy today.

The correct response was: "The Russians hacked my account."

We need to build that wall to keep Mexican doctors from sneaking into America and writing opioid prescriptions.

Well, the Republicans are in charge so they'll fix the health care system. Right OP?

I don't think this is a testament to our healthcare system but to our criminal justice system. Drug use must be decriminalized and treated as a health and addiction issue.

Just need to escalate the war on drugs then. I'm confident we can get the number of gun deaths back in front.

No, the war on drugs is futile. If we want guns back in front where they belong we all just have to work a little harder. One killing spree per person per year. Is that too much to ask?

Unfortunately all of this is making it more difficult for people in pain to get medication. Heroin definitely seems to be taking over here in Saint Louis though.

mass shootings account for a minority of firearm deaths by and large. but they do a good job of grabbing headlines. it's something like 100 fatalities a year.

compare that with ~20,000 suicides (just check the FBI uniform crime statistics) and ~10,000 homicides..most of which are related to...(wait for it)....drug and gang violence. so yes, there is irony in that stepping up the war on drugs would actually escalate firearm deaths (and drug deaths too, actually).

So if we shoot drug dealers it's win-win.

It's Obama's administration that caused this problem broski.

Obviously. When the feds shut down all the dirty doctors selling Oxycontin to suburbia, all those addicts became criminals and started banging dope. Problem is if Trump shoots them all like he just congratulated Dutuerte for doing, he'll have killed off his electoral base. Tricky situation here. He should just legalize heroin and tweet out how he solved the drug problem. Win win.

Legalizing heroin would probably be a better solution than anything else that has happened in recent American drug history. We'd be better off doing the Canadian thing and just give out free, rationed heroin for any druggies that want it.

Even if we buy your bullshit, does that change the facts of what I said? Trump ran on fixing health care and the repubs have been push repeal and replace for six years. They can either fix the problem or get the fuck out of the way.

It's not really a healthcare thing. It's a DEA rescheduling hydrocodone thing (among many other efforts in vain to stop drug abuse via stricter laws).
