I'm taking Loratadine for allergies, but I have a headache at the moment and I'm wondering if it would be alright to take Tylenol/Advil as well.

A quick call to your pharmacist would get you an authoritative answer.

mrkun, does Loratadine ever make you feel anxious or depressed? Sometimes I think I experience mood swings when I take it. It does a pretty good job of controlling the allergies, though.

Thank goodness you've done the responsible thing and come to the right place for this advice.

I was taking loratadine for a while and don't recall having any issues with both together, but don't take my word for it and check with a pharmacist first.

Haha. I was already here on the forum and had to leave right after making the OP. Anyway, the headache went away on its own.

No anxiety or depression that I've noticed. It stops my nose from running, but the mucous continues to build up inside my nasal cavity; so, I have to blow my nose semi-frequently and when I do like a gallon of snot comes out. In fact, I've had the learn to hold the tissue a few inches away from my face, because otherwise my face will be covered after blowing my nose.

It's fine. i've taken loratadine almost daily for some 10+ years now. I have mixed it with Ibuprofen/Acetomenphine several times. Although, I'm so used to the loratadine, I probably wouldn't notice any difference. Alcohol + loratadine (or perhaps it's the sudaphed; I always take the D) isn't thre greatest of mixes....

...damn, I'm more drugged-up than I realized...

It's funny that as soon as I see the word "Drug" in the title I look over to see if ZoneJohnson posted it. There was another drug thread earlier today that I did the same thing on.
