I think some shooting has already happened between special forces and whoever was on the receiving end.

The Drudge Report was founded by Matt Drudge after stints at various news companies including Fox and some others. They have up to the minute news because they scour the web and contact sources/moles in other publications. Drudge does a few stories on his own, but most of the time he just scoops other people on their story by getting info from his various moles.

Actually, most of the time they are not wrong.

Theres been one case that has, and when he went to court he ended up winning the liable case brought against him.

I guess the more stories you publish the more that are likely to be wrong.

I just usually use CNN or the AP for my news since I know where it is coming from, but their site does look like it is informative.

The DrudgeReport get its info from other news sites. As you can see its basically a news "search" engine. He links to almost every major news publication at one point of another. CNN, NBC, ABC. Washington Post, Washington Times, basically any news publication, with worthy news...

From the Drudge Report:

RUSSIAN TANKS TARGET TALIBAN: Russian tanks are poised tonight to roll into Afghanistan as President Bush warned that war would be waged 'wherever terrorists hide, run or plan'...

Thought the Russians were now "gun shy" of Afghanistan? With problems recurring in Chechnya, why would they roll back into Afghanistan? Some incentives from the US perhaps? Nah.........

I'll believe it when I see it.
