As Chris Rock has said:

"they aint never gonna elect a black VP with a white Pres. I couldn't wait to kill the Pres. and make the VP the Pres. What would they do, put me in jail with a bunch of black people who would treat me like a hero for the rest of my life!"

That would be an interesting development. Powell wouldn't be my first choice, but we could certainly do a lot worse, and I think with him on the ticket we could pretty much guarantee that Gore will get toasted in November.

I guess we'll know for sure tomorrow.

TomC25, I was thinking of that same line when I read this thread title. Colin would get my vote.

I would like to see McCain or Powell in there as the VP. Either one of them would be a good choice as they are both men of integrity with some fresh ideas.

I keep hearing Dick Cheney is the one... I'm not sure what I think about that yet. While he's not a bad guy per se, I don't see him as the one with the drawing power to get the 'undecided' vote. Any ideas? Oppinions?

i doubt that Bush will come out with a surprise candidate, but if you are expecting a surprise expect McCain to be chosen.

The reason? well, as soon as Dick Cheney moved his registration to Wyoming all the media left McCain alone, many claim that this might have been the stragedy all along, but we will know for sure soon.

as for Powell, i honestly wish Bush would pick him, that would assure the trip to the White House like Russ said.
