It's one thing to say that you didn't like someones music, but to find pleasure in someones death is downright disturbing IMHO.

Ditto man. I can't believe these people who posted in this thread who did this. It really sickens me.

Well it is almost 99% certain the death was 100% his own fault....in cases like that I don't feel sorry for them at all...

You're an ignorant stereotypical idiot if you think just because he's in a hard rock band that his death was his own fault. Not all of them are hardcore drug users like your narrow mind might think

Its not that I feel particularly sorry for this guy nor do I much care for the music he made. I too feel little sympathy for those who end up dead b/c of an OD or something. I'm just sayin it sucks that someone makes it big and this happens, regardless of whether its because of their own actions. I love Ozzy and I would be sad if he kicked the bucket tomorrow but seeing how he lived in his younger days I wouldn't feel particularly sorry for the guy. He got what he brought on himself.
It doesn't make his death any less tragic. Last October, I had a really good friend die in a car accident. He wasn't what most people would call a "good christian" by any means, and he let the world know that. You might call him a "happy goth", because his clothing of choice was black, but he didn't wear the makeup or act all sullen all day. His death was a total shock to all his friends and family. Just because someone leads a wild life doesn't revoke them as a person, people still DO care for them.

I'm with NFS4 on this one. This world is headed straight down the shitter. :(

We don't even know what happened yet. We can only make assumptions at this point. I should use Layne Staley as an example: He was clearly hooked on heroin and it was obviously apparent to everyone who knew him what would happen. In spite of this, he lived a secluded life where he "shot" himself to death. Was his death tragic? Sure, he was talented guy and made great music. What's more tragic IMHO is that nobody stepped in to do anything about it. Am I really missing something here?

<<No sympathy whatsoever for yet another wasteoid. >>

<<Riiiiiiight, so those weren't bottles of Jagermeister they were pounding in between songs when I saw them? >>

Jeeze, i never realized how wack some of you people were around here. So what if the guy drinks? So what if he does drugs? Does that make him less of a person than you? You spend all your money on computers like it's a crack habbit. Is there really any difference? None of this has actually been proven in the first place, im just stating if it is found he OD'd.

Secondly its sad that you actually look down at someone that does something different than what you do. Maybe it's jealousy cause he's out there living his life to the fullest and your sitting behind a desk 24/7? Making lots of money? Who knows. But people have the right to do whatever they want as long as they aren't hurting others. He wasn't hurting anyone and according to the article and all the people surrounding him, he was a great/really nice guy to be around.

""He was the sweetest man you'll ever come across in your life," Disturbed singer David Draiman said Wednesday. "[He] didn't have a bad bone in his body, just very kind-hearted, very good-natured, very genuine, always trying to make everyone around him smile. [He was] always trying to bring some life to the party with his own little dramatic flair.""

Now just cause you don't like his music or the way he lived his life means you think it's funny he has passed? I'm definately not a fan (i think their music sucks IMHO), but damn i sure don't wish death on anyone. Some people need to grow the hell up.

No, I drink *RESPONSIBLY.* That means no more than 2 beers at a bar in 2 hours, or about the same rate at home. The 1 drink an hour limit keeps me from making a complete ass of myself, and endangering myself and others. Pounding Jager is hardly responsible.

To his credit, that is true. When they played bodies, the entire audience became a rabid pit, and when the whole lot of us fell to the floor, somebody hit their head on one of the monitors. He said something about having a good time and how killing each other isn't cool.

Exactly who are you to decided what's "RESPONSIBLY" drinking for him? Can you even prove they were really "Pounding Jager" and it wasn't something like coke inside? You realize it's a stage act and bands do that. Does that make him less of a person cause he makes choices different from you? Also your sitting there paying for ozzfest helping fund their drug and liquor habbits. Your nothing better than a buyer from a dealer.

Have you drank more than 2 beers in 2 hours? Cause if not i'm going to think you're some kind of holy roller who thinks everyone else who does something you don't is a "Sinner" and "Wrong". Have you ever been drunk?
