Dropping my VCore and my Temps are the same?

Putting together a new build and am running into an issue

i7920
GByte EX58-UD3R
OCZ DDR3 1600

After everything was installed, drivers loaded, etc., my temps seem higher than usual. I am using the stock cooler as I do not plan to OC, and my temps are around 45-48 idle, 65+ load (wont let prime run long enough to get higher, but it just continually climbs). I am unfamiliar with this setup and could use some recommendations for my bios settings. So far, all voltages are on auto except for VCore I have it set to 1.100v. Even with the low Vcore (this is low for an i7 right?), Im still getting the above temps.

Also, I double checked the CPU cooler, and everything seems fine to me. I took it out, made sure the AC5 was nice and spread over the cores, and made sure to snap it back into place.

Any other ideas what the issue could be? Also, if someone could recommend some voltage settings for the voltages other than core that would be great.

Thanks

Turning off HT will help, but you shouldn't need to. I guess you just got a particularly bad cooler. Get a better one?

What's your case and case airflow like? The temps are a little high but not completely out of bounds for an i7 with the stock cooler. I've seen a few reviews where at load the stock cooler gets up to 75C.

Also what's your ambient room temperature?
