I see Brian had a small announcement posting of this webcam and said to have a full review since the company slid them a few models. That was last October?

Any ETA on the review?


I want to like it but I'd rather not have to go through the company to access the video. It seems to say that in all the material I've read.

EDIT: If you want I am in the Triangle area. I'll take one of the models and write a review.

Yeah, recording is optional (read: monthly subscription) but all of what I read seems to say plug it in, run setup and then use a browser or mobile device plugin to see the live video. It doesn't say that you run it from a computer, so I think this is an internet appliance that passes through the company to you. If this is the only way of viewing it then no thanks, I'll roll my own.
