I have a few files favorited on DropBox, so they are stored locally on my iPhone. I am staying at the Hyatt and they want $12 for internet! I have my USB cable and I can also make an ad hoc network. DropBox doesn't support iTunes files sharing. Is there a program such as iExplorer that can help me out?

iExplorer didn't work with you? Those files should be in the file store for Dropbox. Not sure the actual path.

If you tether your laptop to your iPhone then there's your internet connection.

Do they want $12 for internet period, or just for wireless? There's usually an ethernet jack in there somewhere.

Yeah, if you can use your iPhone as a hotspot, you have internet.

I cannot use my phone as a hotspot. I've used iExplorer before, but I did not think it had access to DropBox. I will try it when I get home. If it works, I'll saved a copy to my flash-drive so I can use it on the go!

I did think of looking for an Ethernet jack, but I didn't have a cable so it wouldn't help anyways. Besides, I imagine if they charge for WiFi they would charge for wired internet.

Does the hotel have a business center? Do you have a flash drive? If so, it should be pretty easy to get the item from your Dropbox to your computer.
