Drop in performance from OCZ Platinum Enhanced to Premier Series?

I was thinking of selling my existing OCZ 2x256MB sticks of Platinum Enhanced Bandwidth in order to buy 2x512MB of their Premier Series sticks (they're cheaper). Do you guys think that I'll notice any significant performance drops or problems with overclocking? My existing ones are dual channel optimized and I plan on buying dual channel optimized of the cheaper kind as well.

I could tell a huge difference when I went to my cheap-o stick of 512 to my XMS-3200 2x512. Pretty big jump, but still. I say if you think your gonna need it, then go for it. More RAM wont hurt anything.

Actually I was referring to the quality of the sticks of memory. I definitely know that going from 512 to 1024 will be a good boost. I'm just wondering whether I can use lesser "quality" sticks for the 1024 than the higher end 512 I currently have.
