/drool - Sony 18" LCD

I went shopping with some friends about an hour ago but I was fairly early (about 45 minutes) because I went to the mall straight from work.

So of course, knowing me, where would I go to waste time!? Futureshop, Radio Shack, Electronics Botique, CompuWorld and my last and favorite stop: The Sony Store.

I walked in and saw the most beautiful LCD I've ever seen in my entire life. And I'm in the market for a nice LCD right now.

Originally I was going to go with a Viewsonic 18.1" but MY GOD this LCD is NICE.

I had the salesman play a DVD for me on it (after showing him which function key to press on his laptop to make the DVD display on the LCD, lol that was funny) and it was perfect. I watched it from 80 degrees off center and it was still very clear and bright.

Unfortunately it's $1799... a couple hundred more than the viewsonic. But I think will be worth it.

I will treat this baby better than I treat my girlfriend! (Just pretend I have a girlfriend, and imagine how I would treat her, OK?)

You know a store is ripping you off when you can buy the same thing direct from Sony for $100 cheaper. Sheesh!

This one can be found for around the same price.

That's not the one. That one is actually more expensive because its in US dollars.

i have that monitor. Well, i don't know if it's the same one but i have a sony 18.1 inch lcd. Pretty nice
