We all have Internet-connected smartphones in our pockets, but it’s very hard to find a place on Internet to feel secure and private. No doubt, there is data Encryption on cell phones, but what’s the use if it is cracked by hackers or law enforcement?
What if the encrypted files don’t exist in the first place for law enforcement to decrypt it? That’s the motive behind DroidStealth, a new Android encryption tool that not only protects sensitive data with obfuscation, but also hides its existence on your phone as if it has nothing to hide.

Sounds like the same philosophy as Darkmatter an in development (one hopes, because I haven't seen any news since the article below) android fork that tries to hide in plain site.

Droidstealth looks like a cool idea but I'm pretty sure that someone is looking for a way to detect the app on your phone and if it is found on your phone by law enforcement for whatever reason they'll assume guilty until proved innocent even though that should be the way it is.

Good idea. Their caveat list is a little troubling, but it could possibly be fixed by a mechanism for starting via terminal.

Currently the use of this application has several issues that may result in data loss. This sections aims to list all of them as a warning both for use and as a reminder of what to work on.

The applications encryption keys are tied to the installation.
Uninstalling the app deletes the data managed by the app.
Force-quitting the app may make the the app inaccessible, as well as the encrypted data, as it makes it stop listening for the right phone calls.
Any crashes of the app may do the same as the above.
This is unclear but very specific situations where the app is running and the phone really needs memory that it may force-quit the app and cause the above.
