Sounds like the same philosophy as Darkmatter an in development (one hopes, because I haven't seen any news since the article below) android fork that tries to hide in plain site.

Droidstealth looks like a cool idea but I'm pretty sure that someone is looking for a way to detect the app on your phone and if it is found on your phone by law enforcement for whatever reason they'll assume guilty until proved innocent even though that should be the way it is.

We all have Internet-connected smartphones in our pockets, but its very hard to find a place on Internet to feel secure and private. No doubt, there is data Encryption on cell phones, but whats the use if it is cracked by hackers or law enforcement?
What if the encrypted files dont exist in the first place for law enforcement to decrypt it? Thats the motive behind DroidStealth, a new Android encryption tool that not only protects sensitive data with obfuscation, but also hides its existence on your phone as if it has nothing to hide.
