Droid 2 Email Sync Issue...

So I successfully setup my hotmail and comcast email accounts to the phone. I receive new emails and can send emails. Issue is that once an email is deleted from the account through the browser it does not sync that to the phone. It used to but now it keeps all the old mail there. Is there something I should change for that to happen?
