DRM protected files suck.

I have some WMV files with DRM on them. I have the legal license to the files. What I would like to know is:

1. What should I use for screenshot video capture?
2. Is there better/easier way to remove DRM protected files?

I'm frequently on the go and I would like the ability to view my videos without internet connection. Thanks for your suggestions.

Yeah. Real pain. The only other way around it is to video out the feed to a VCR, then play it back and record with a video capture card. Not only impractical, but generally horrible quality. I bought a few broadcasted baseball games off MLB.com and they only allowed me to register the DRM three times or 3 machines. If I do a reinstall (which I eventually needed to do), I'm screwed.

There is no legal way to do it, but there is an illegal Japanese program to do it which only works if you can play the file in the first place.

Looks like FRAPS might be the way to go for file conversion. This really seems tedious though as I will have to go through hours of processor intensive video recording in real time.

Feel free to PM if you have a solution but are unable to post.
